The Monroe Institute is a non-profit education and research organization was founded in 1974 by Robert Monroe in Virginia, USA, and has a network of trainers around the world.
His work focuses on the knowledge and exploration of human consciousness through scientific research and experiential programs.
Our Mission is the promotion of theexploration of human consciousness and the experience of expanded states of consciousness as a path to creating a life of personal freedom, awareness, deep meaning in what one does, insight and happiness.

Cultural association for research and education
Since 2010 the activities of the Monroe Institute have also been launched in Italy thanks to the initiative of Stefano Roverso, the first Italian Monroe trainer, organizing experiential courses, popular events and professional collaborations.
In January 2014, the nonprofit cultural research and education association “The Monroe Institute Italia aps” was founded, which resumes vision e mission of the Monroe Institute, extending its activities throughout Italy and fostering the aggregation of people who are also in Italy committed to the conscious evolution of Humanity.
