Going Home is a personal growth program on the topic of states beyond physical life, but it is also an important preparation for understanding and accepting what happens when a loved one approaches the time of transition, physical death, understanding how to provide, for them and ourselves, the right support and backing, and helping to alleviate the stress and pain of the situation.

Going Home experiences offer a concrete opportunity to process and overcome the fear of physical death.

Description

Going Home is an experiential course open to all, although prior participation in Exploring Consciousness or other Monroe Institute programs is recommended. This course was developed by Robert Monroe, founder of the Monroe Institute, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, world authority on issues of death and dying, and Charles Tart, PhD, internationally renowned researcher on nonordinary states of consciousness. It has an ambitious goal: overcoming the fear of physical death.

The course exercises take one far along the continuum of consciousness to experience independence from the physical body and access to extra-ordinary states of consciousness, up to experiences termed near-death experiences (NDEs). Hemi-Sync technology, supplemented by verbal guides and the expert conduct of the trainer, facilitates access to these experiences, creating the conditions for visiting, in total control and safety, states of existence subsequent to the stage of physical death, including the state of Focus 27, referred to as “the Park.” Place well known to other cultures and traditions even if named differently. It is the place of arrival and reconnection with our full Wholeness, of understanding the lived experience on Earth; but it is also the place of contact and communication with those who are there after making the transition from the physical plane. Experiences during the course can produce intense feelings and memories with significant emotional and mental impact. Such experiences are directed through the expert guidance of the trainer to positive and constructive processing. No religious model or belief system is the target of the program.

These experiences provide an opportunity for the participant to process and overcome the common fear of physical death. The Going Home exercises are also designed to help us understand and accept what happens when a loved one approaches the time of transition, physical death, understanding how to provide, for them and ourselves, the right support and backing, and helping to relieve the stress and pain of the situation.
